Bio

Mark Goldner has over 30 years of experience as an employment lawyer. He has represented employees in a broad range of employment disputes including: unlawful discrimination based on race, age, gender, sexual orientation, disability, and military status; unlawful retaliation for whistleblowing or making a workers’ compensation claim; failure to pay overtime pay or other wages; violation of family leave and medical leave laws; and breach of employment contracts and restrictive covenants. He has successfully tried cases before juries in West Virginia and federal courts, and litigated matters before the EEOC and the West Viginia Human Rights Commission. Mark also has extensive experience in counseling and representing large and small employers in employment matters, making him more effective in representing employees.

Prior to joining Bailess Law Firm as Of Counsel, Mark was a founding member of Hughes & Goldner PLLC.

Mark is also a retired Marine Corps Officer.
